I was trying to be good

Well that’s my catch phrase. I was trying to be good… as I finish that box of cheezels. Yes I am like anyone who has a sweet tooth, have to have such strong will, I will act all I’m good but eventually cave in after about 15 mins. Yes I love food, but food doesn’t like me. I look at food and put on a kilo.
So with someone like me, when I go grocery shopping, I don’t buy sweets, chocolate or chips. If it’s not in the house, I have eliminated the temptation. And when u do have a bit of chocolate or some chips it’s in moderation.
So moderation… you will hear this word a lot from me. I am a big believer in this. All these diets that eliminate this or that…. well your body needs every food groups. That’s why I have a cheat day. A cheat day allows me to eat anything I want one day a week but the rest of 6 days I have to be good.
Best way to monitor moderation is though calorie counting. Yes it’s tedious having to input everything into an app but it allows u to have that piece of cake at the work birthday or that glass of wine after work drinks. You have to live your life and still live while looking after yourself.
So it’s ok to say I was trying to be good…. just make sure it’s moderation and put it in your calorie intake for the day.
