Setting Goals

One thing I have learnt about fitness is about goal setting. When you set your goal, you should set ure self the end result goal but it is important that you set steps and stages to reach this goal. For example, Can’t do 50 push-ups , well start your first day doing 5 push-ups. Then as it gets easier then increase by another 5 and in no time you will be doing 50 push-ups. When setting goals, it is important to write down your goals. I like to write motivational notes and stick them up on the wall. A constant reminder of what you want to achieve. This is also good for every aspect of your life not just your fitness goals. Make sure that you also share your goals with your partner, family and friends. Having the support of these people will also help you to achieve your goals and they will also be able to help to motivate you. You will have your very own cheer squad. Remember, if you have a goal, baby steps, fitness takes time and it will need to be a long term goal.
