Do you listen to your body?

While it is important to push yourself and your body when doing your fitness routine, it is important to also listen to your body. A lot of people just keep pushing themselves when they get sick with the flu or a cold. They do not stop unless the cold or flu makes them. If they had of listen to their body, they would of realised they were getting sick and should of stopped and rested to get over it quickly. The body is an amazing thing and listening to the body is very important. For me, I exercise 6-7 times a week, to go without exercise for more than 2 days is big for me. However as much as I want to go exercise when I get sick (which isn’t very often), I do not exercise and I rest my body. I have also found, the fitter you are, the less likely you are to get sick and when you do, you will get over it much quicker. So listen to your body and be smart how you push yourself. Push yourself when you need to but rest your body when it needs resting.
