Jump on the Meal Prep bandwagon

Have you got home from work and so tired that you can’t be bothered cooking? You reach for the quickest and easiest meal, you devour the meal and then realise it was probably the most unhealthiest option you could of eaten. Then you have remorse for not cooking.
Well that has been me on many occasions. Then I decided, I have to stop this. So now I meal prep, on the weekend, I spend a small amount of time cooking healthy meals and stocking up the freezer, so on nights that I am tired or I come home late, I have healthy options I can reheat in 5 mins.
I also prep my lunches as well, to save on time in the mornings. Plus I know I’ve got a healthy lunches.
We all use time as an excuse. I hear it all the time, meal prep takes to long to do or I don’t have time to meal prep. Instead of using time as an excuse, use time as a benefit. What’s an hour out of your weekend to make your lunches and dinners for the week.
At least you know, that when you meal prep, your less likely to grab something unhealthy and it’s cost saving so you don’t grab takeaway on the way home.
So jump on the meal prep bandwagon. Being healthy is not about time but about being organised and planning
