Reputation and why you should have self worth

Reputation these days doesn’t seem to care to much among people. With the increase of social media and everyone going after their 10 secs of fame, a boozy night out and pictures of you throwing up is becoming a normal occurrence on Facebook. But does that mean that your reputation is no longer important and how does that affect ones self worth in life.
Quite honestly I would be mortified if a pic of me doing this made it to Facebook. I do care what people think of me, I do care what my family thinks of me and while it may seem like harmless fun at the time, you have to think of the implications that this can cause the next day.
As an employer, I do look at people’s Facebook pages when I receive a resume. Is this a pic you would like your potential future employer to see?
So I may be called boring and old fashioned, but I think that you have to have self worth and a good reputation in life as it means everything.
