Why fitness is so important to our stress levels

Stress has a massive impact on our bodies. It affects the way we interact with each other, our sleeping patterns and also our eating habits. Stress is also a major contribution to how our heart functions. Fitness is a great way to assist with stress relief. Being able to go for a run and clear your mind. It is also a good way to think about your day and plan the next one. Quite often I use running on the treadmill as a way to think about what has happened in the day and formulate what I am doing the next day. I then get home and write my plan in my diary. Fitness can also assist to work out any frustration you may have and motivate you even more during your work out. It’s important that you have some me time. Time alone to think and re-energise and refresh yourself and fitness is the best way to do this and help you de-stress.
