Why is it so hard to accept change, but how fitness can change that?

For many, change is something to be feared. People will come up with many excuses as to why they can’t change? I did it for many years, made excuses as to why I couldn’t exercise and meanwhile I was getting fatter and fatter. So why then do we not like change? Well maybe it’s because we get into a routine and don’t like doing things that does not fit into the current routine. That’s where fitness comes in. Once you accept that you want to change your old routine into a healthy lifestyle routine, you take the first step that many find so hard to do. It’s brave to stand up and accept that you need to change. It takes guts!!! Once you start on your new routine, after a few weeks it becomes a behaviour and you will find that change can be good. Change is not to be feared and you can achieve anything you want, if you accept change is good. I embrace change, life is a journey and let’s see where it takes me. My change to a healthy lifestyle is the best change I have made. I have found that because I embraced change and I am now fit and healthy, I also have a more positive outlook on life and am more motivated in all aspects of my life. Fitness is a powerful change that you should definitely embrace. It will change your life.
