You have completed weeks of exercise, been eating healthy and been putting in a lot of effort, but you jump on the scales after a couple of weeks and your extremely disappointed as your not seeing the results you wanted. I have been in this situation, worked so hard only to loose 1.5 kilos. Don’t be feel disappointed and don’t feel like all this hard work for nothing. It takes time to train your body and takes time for your body to adjust, what might be happening, is that your body is changing internally, your body fat % might have changed, you might be putting on muscle and your body shape might be changing. It is important to get a body analysis done by a professional every 6 to 8 weeks, this will give u a true snapshot of your body. After 4 weeks of training, I had loss only 2 kg, but I had increased my muscle and dropped 2% on body fat. You should not judge your success by the scales. You should judge your success on body fat%. You will also see a change in your body when you look in the mirror. Remember, this is a long term journey which involves changing behaviours and you have to allow your body to adjust to a healthy regime. So do not judge your success by the scales, it should only be used as a guide, but you will feel it in yourself the changes and the improvements by exercising and eating healthy.
