No pain, no gain

We have all heard the expression, No Pain, No Gain. It is constantly being used by fitness professionals and I also have to admit that I have used this saying on numerous occasions as well to friends and family that I have been training with.
It is actually one of my favourite expressions and I use it as a motivational tool for me. Everyone should have a motivational saying they use to motivate them to keep going. We have all been in the situation when you can barely walk out of the gym because your legs are like jelly, you are panting and feel like you can’t make it to your car. But then you get home and you start to recover and you feel great. But there is still the soreness for the next day or so.
Just remember why you are doing it. Don’t give up. No pain, no gain. See its that easy, those 4 words will spur you on to not lose focus and remember why you have started on this journey, to create a better you.
So whatever your motivational fitness saying is, make sure that you use it, tell yourself daily, even write it down and stick it up in your home.
If you want the results, you have to work for them, nothing comes without hard work and whatever you need to do to get you there, the no pain, no gain saying will help you through it.
