Changing Fitness Regimes

So last month I changed my fitness routine, I had twisted my ankle and could not run, so I decided to start doing core work and weights. Well my ankle healed but I decided to stay with mainly core work and only some cardio work. I have always preferred Cardio work since starting on my fitness routine 3 years ago, I have loved doing cardio. But now the results I am seeing from doing core work and weights is amazing. In less than a month, i now have an outline of a stomach and love handles are decreasing.

It just goes to show the importance of constantly evaluating your goals. With cardio I have achieved a good level of fitness but cardio was not going to propel me to the next level of my fitness and give me what I wanted. A trim core area.

Reassessing your goals should happen when you start to find your usual exercises easy. You should be constantly pushing yourself and striving to feel like you can go on no more.

Push yourself. The results will be your self satisfaction.
