Your never to old to change habits

I constantly hear the saying “I’m too old to do that”. Well age is a mindset and that saying doesn’t sit well with me. Why is it that when you reach a certain age, you should start to slow down. There is so much to see and do in the world and the old society norms of settling down, getting a house and having kids as early as you can are changing and so is the view of retirement. As we are working longer into our lives, the old society norms of retirement are no longer valid. The older generation are more health conscious and enjoy an active lifestyle. They are not happy with sitting in front of a tv all day watching, they are out there, playing sports, travelling the world and having great fun along the way.
As society evolves so does the people. You are never too old to change your habits. If you have been living an unhealthy lifestyle all your life, well its time to change. Age doesn’t matter, its a mindset. If your body allows you to do something, then you should do it.
Yes the risks of injury increase as you get older, but, with consultation from a doctor and also a fitness professional, then you should strive to be fit and healthy.
Don’t allow society to dictate what you can and can’t do. If you want to do something, then don’t listen to people telling you, you can’t do that because your too old. At the age of 33, I am now in the best shape of my life and by the time I am 40, I will be as fit and healthy as I am now. Why, because, I believe you are never to old to do anything.
Live your life, don’t let it pass you by.
